Rotary Clubs to Host Regional Meal Packing Event to Support Local Food Pantries<\/span><\/p>\n

SEYMOUR \u2013 Rotary Clubs throughout the lower Naugatuck Valley and surrounding communities are joining forces to host a large-scale meal packing event aimed at supporting local food pantries and addressing food insecurity across the region.The Rotary Meal Packing Event will take place on Saturday, March 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 91 West Church Street, Seymour.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The rotary members thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Dinner at Paradise Restaurant in Ansonia. While the presentation of the meal was somewhat unconventional, the culinary offerings were delicious and were enjoyed by all.  <\/span><\/p>\n

On a chilly, overcast day, our Rotary team assisted in this fundraising event. The Ansonia Boy Scout Troop 7 generously helped by transporting items from customer’s vehicles to the shredding truck. We are deeply appreciative of their invaluable contribution.  <\/span><\/p>\n

This unexpected and inspiring event was a true highlight of Wednesday\u2019s meeting. Notably, DG Stephanie was accompanied by Nancy Valentine , President of AnSeOx Rotary<\/span><\/p>\n

NEYAH owner, Elaine Marcuccio, has been catering our meetings and we look forward to supporting her new operation.<\/span><\/div>\n
